Creating a Server Group for Project Deployments

To develop and deploy API projects, projects need to be added as well as deployed on various Server Groups present at Administration > Server groups.

  • Production and Development are the default server groups that can be seen in this section.

  • apigateway1 and apigateway servers are assigned to  Product and Development server groups respectively.

Creating a new server group 

Click the Add button, provide a name, and click Add.

The newly added server appears in red colored text, as it's not saved yet.

The server group needs to be assigned with at least one server group.

Assigning a server to the new server group

  1. Click the newly added Server Group name to see the servers available.

  2. Move a running Gateway Server from the Available Servers section to the Servers list.

    Refer to the Adding a new Gateway Server section to add an additional gateway server, as the default gateway servers are already assigned to the default server groups.


  3. Click the Save icon to save the new server group. The font color turns green as the server group gets saved.
