Release Notes

This document contains important information about the Fiorano ISO20022 Accelerator Platform 12.2.0 release. It lists what has been included as well as important features of the Fiorano ISO20022 Accelerator Platform pertaining to the Fiorano 12.2.0 version.

What's included

Translations

Based on the usage guidelines provided by the SWIFT CBPR+ (September 2020), Fiorano has provided translations from MT to MX and vice versa. Complex issues involved in bi-directional mapping between MT and MX formats are solved with the help of these translations and migration to ISO20022 has been made easier.

MT to MX translations

MX to MT translations

Following MX to MT translations are included.

• MT103 reject and MT202 reject can be translated to pacs002. Translation of pacs002 to MT103 reject and MT202 reject is not possible. Instead, pacs002 is translated to MT199 or to MT299.
• Discussion is in progress with SWIFT on generating acknowledgment for the messages. The outcome, based on these discussions, will be included in a future release, and after confirmation from SWIFT.

MX to MT Conversion Additional Notes

When an incoming MX message is converted to the equivalent MT, there may be additional data in the original message that has no equivalent field in the MT message or data may be truncated as there is a limit in the number of characters for MT fields. In this case, an additional text file is created and is passed to the receiving system to ensure full details are available for the end user.

Truncated data is shown in the SWIFT message with a '+' appended at the end of the field value.

This has been implemented partially in a single translation and will be implemented completely across all translations in the upcoming release.
